Alex Jacob is a man of many parts: classical scholar, biker, ballroom dancer and morrisman. On discovering the fetish club scene in 1995, he began, with customary zeal, the manufacture of ruber clothing, dungeon equipment and SM whips, as well as starting two seminal clubs in Glasgow. On his return to London in 1997, he concentrated on whipmaking full time, swiftly achieving a reputation for his mastery of different designs, materials and technology. His exquisite craftsmanship is now savoured by fetishists and whipfiends around the world.
