Jo King's London School of Striptease

Jo King's Top Ten Stripping Tips

I've been asked for these on quite a few occasions so I have sat my little stripper bottom down and given the matter some serious attention!

Just before I start with the tips, I would like to say that is of the utmost importance that you are performing a striptease because it's something that YOU want to do! If you are not comfortable with the idea it won't be the exciting, erotic and special experience that it should be.

  1. Persona:

Choose who you want to be e.g. dominant mistress, sexy seductress, girl-next door, movie star etc and do your make-up and hair to go with the image.
  2. Clothes:

You need an outfit to match your chosen persona e.g. white lingerie for innocence, black PVC dress and boots for dominance, slinky long dress and matching undies for seduction etc.
  3. Props:

Don't forget, this is about fantasy so maybe add one or two of the following: long evening gloves, a feather boa, a whip, a hat or even a wig. Think about what else you can use to enhance your performance.
  4. Care:

Make sure that you can take it all off sexily. Avoid: zips that you can't reach easily, small buttons (awkward for long nails) and Velcro, it's effective but can snag stockings.
  5. Shoes:

Must be sexy and comfortable so that you can dance in them securely. Slip-ons such as court shoes are best if you intend to take your stockings off. Be careful with mules as they can slip off if you are not used to moving around in them.
  6. Music:

Whatever motivates you and makes you want to play the part; perhaps rock for wildness, soul or blues for sensual moves or any song with relevant words etc. Use as many tracks as you like, take your time and build up the excitement.
  7. Place:

Prepare an area in which you can perform your striptease. Create the right atmosphere by using soft lighting, candles and incense. Make sure the room is the right temperature because you don't want to be naked and covered in goose-pimples!
  8. Practice:

Work out a routine. Try to move in time to the music. Concentrate on when and how you take each item off. Think of yourself as a gift, unwrapping yourself slowly with delight at each new part that you reveal. Make sure that when you're not stripping, you're still teasing... that's why it's called stripTEASE!
  9. Looks:

Eye contact and facial expression are crucial to an erotic show. Look at your partner and draw them in with your eyes and don't be afraid to smile... that's sexy too. When you touch your body, look as if it means something to you. You are communicating that you've got what he wants!
  10. Facts:

Remember that the power of femininity is supreme and that sensuality comes from within. If you believe in yourself, everything is possible! So, show your man how lucky he is to have you in his life and most importantly... ENJOY yourself! :-)
