Maz Peri

Maz Peri joined Outsiders six years ago when her marriage was collapsing and needed to get out of the house and re-establish herself. Her outgoing nature and willingness to contribute to the organisation made her automatically invited onto the Management Committee and later the Coordinators Group. She now acts as Outsiders Club treasurer.

Maz has curvature of the spine and sometimes needs to use a respiratory machine at night. At first she felt too embarrassed to launch into new relationships as she needs a ventilator and mask over her face at night. Having overcome this hurdle, Maz was able to advise others who have the same problem.

Maz brightens up the office with her talents and expertise, advises the women in the club and acts as a host to the London and Ipswich lunches.

She lives in Suffolk with her son and also bundles of wool which she transforms into amazing jumpers.
