I was turned into the title of porn star by the press and having experienced the negative treatment by them and trying to turn my name into mud I adopted to make a stand.
On an interview with the local press, question what am I going to do now? My reply, I will form my own political party .
The Liberated Party will campaign for an end to censorship and restrictions of porn involving consenting adults. The laws which at present restrict sexual activities of consenting adults enjoyment of s/m, sex parties in private.
The Law Commission has recommended that most of the offences be abolished. Campaigning groups against the Obscene Publications Act and the Campaign Against Censorship have been trying for quite a while to get the Government to abolish censorship without success.
We will promote legislation to abolish the BBFC and the rights of local authorities to censor adult films. A National Public Viewing Panel comprising of people from all walks of life will be established from which will be drawn Viewing Committees to consider films, DVD and videos suitable for viewing by young persons under sixteen. In view of the fact that the age of consent for both heterosexual and gay sex is now 16 we will seek to lower the age to view adult films to 16 years of age also.
We will de-criminalize the offence of more than two men having gay sex together in their own homes.
Censors often confuse S/M with violence in order to ban S/M imagery. S/M requires the trust of all parties involved and willing adults have a mutual understanding of the other participant.
BBFC and the Home Office mostly say that they are for the legalisation of porn and are amazed at Jack Straw's reluctance to repeal existing laws.
We agree with the Home Office on certain points to do with reforming the law on sex offences with children and bestiality.
The Liberated Party will seek to improve sex offender treatment and not just lock them up and throw away the key.
Since the registration of the party on the 11/5/2001 the leader of the liberated party say's "I am delighted at the result of 362 votes and we did capture support from Northampton people that believe in the political objects of the party"
On the June 7/6/2001 at the General Election count Miss Harvey made her returning officer thank you speech in grand style in a PVC Nurse's ooutfitand helped put a smile on some very dull faces.
