Erotic Awards Showcase - Painting by Sylvie Jones

The 2006 Erotic Awards SHOWCASE was held on Wednesday 24th May at the Clapham Grand. Guests filled this enormous ornate theatre, with its gilt dragons, eyes lit up in green, red balconies, fairy lights and old-world glamour. The stage show was presented by Mat Fraser with his usual anarchic wit, and consisted of a wide range of beauty, raunch and eroticism. There were nipple tassles with fireworks swinging from them, space ships, an incredible Matrix extravaganza, a cute fan dance of an "ugly duckling", bouncing bosoms and glistening pussies. The Jo King-trained amateur troupe, The Tease Maids did an air hostess routine. The men provided sensual belly dancing, self-fellation and plenty of stiff dick.

What a wonderful warm atmosphere! Those sitting in the front being showered with bubbles and streamers from the tiers above, flirtations in the boxes, a mini-cocktail party in progress on one balcony, and somewhat ruder action on the one above. The Good Morning Vietnam waitresses served dinner, whilst grinning at the stage in amazement.

In the interval, guests were invited to take their turn on the VX1 Orgasm Machine, and Solitaire and Julie did a collection for Outsiders, raising hundreds of pounds.

Everyone agreed that this show was a step up from our previous events, in part thanks to the creativity of the lighting guys, Dan and Marie, immaculate sound by Alison, and high energy professionalism of the performers. Then they thanked us - saying how nice it was to be provided with fruit and flowers in the dressing rooms and being welcomed respectfully, like any other stars.
