Art Tart (UK)

mike forbes

We love Bristol-based Art Tart because her work unexpectedly combines  self-portraiture, humour, sex and spontineity. She poses and paints, and paints what she poses. It is street art, vulgar, glamorous and entertaining.

She says, “This particular girl is on a mission to inject a pinch of colour and make the world a touch less grey, a smidgen more glamorous and to leave it smelling of roses...”.

Biography

Pamela Tait
(UK)

Katie Sarra
Pamela’s pop art-style paintings of women are copied from 70's porn magazines, and Pamela says: “They're  super cool with Farrah Fawcett hairstyles, beautiful curvy figures with real boobs, knee high socks, hot pants. Good fun girls, I’m just playing around with them a little.” Both retro and futuristic, the ethereal, angelic quality makes the eroticism seem very naughty. The titles reflect the music she is listening to while she works.
